Senior Support Engineer
Techtron is looking for a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer, who will be responsible for high-end, pro-active as well as re-active technical support to clients.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high-level support on Windows Servers, workstations and laptops
- Troubleshooting of firewalls, managed switches and LAN / WAN /VLAN / Wi-Fi issues (Sophos Firewalls, Unifi Switches & AP's)
- Understanding of network security, malware/ransomware detection, prevention & remediation.
- Provide professional, concise communication with team members and clients
- Provide customer service as per agreed SLA's
- Remote Support & afterhours standby support
Requirements:
- Recent Microsoft Certifications
- Knowledge and experience of:
- Networking (IP/DNS/DHCP/Firewalls(Sophos)/Switches/AP(Unifi))
- Microsoft technologies server & desktop, Hyper-V, Azure, Intune, PowerShell
- M365 - 2+ Years experience (Exchange Online, One Drive, SharePoint Online, MS Teams)
- Dell Laptop/Desktop/Server Hardware
- VOIP Experience
- Backup software, high availability and disaster recovery experience
- RMM and Ticketing experience (Kaseya Datto RMM, Kaseya Datto Autotask)
- Networking (IP/DNS/DHCP/Firewalls(Sophos)/Switches/AP(Unifi))
- Valid driver’s license and own, reliable vehicle
- 3+ Years General IT Support experience
